"Father Brom would know more then I do. To be honest I've never heard the name until Father Brom first mentioned him. I suppose he's one of the nobles." There was something he hadn't heard or been for a quite a long time. Yes once upon a time he too was part of the noble hood. Sure it was long ago however he still knew a few nobles here and there that would be more than willing to lend a hand during a time of need.

[Im gonna post again but its short so I hope its ok] "Ch-" Sev almost laughed. Of course Lord Kelvin must be some sort of noble. TO Sev it was almost common sense to guess that each Lord was of nobility, and even if they werent, they soon became so.

"Yes, this is the right way." He pointed forward and a little to the left as the road wandered that way past various fields of hay, wheat, or vegetables of many different kinds. The land around them seemed to give it's nourishment grudgingly, for all the plants seemed stunted in their growth. "We should reach the forest by nightfall. As for the good Lord Kelven, he's a well educated man, he's the Lord over these people and this land. He does his best in these times of trouble, but I don't think good leadership will fix his current problems. The peasants have fertilized the land as they should, they have even been commanded to rotate crops every year, a technique that has recently been found to help the land recover from highly demanding crops like corn. The spirit of the land itself seems to be suffering, and that makes everything suffer." Brom went silent again, a sign that he had gone back to reading.

"Ah, so basically Lord Kelvin is a pretty well-balanced man with good intentions? Sounds well enough." Sev was already imagining the man in his mind, guessing how he might appear, what he sounds like he would look like, and the such. He wasn't much into getting excited about people, but he found trying to figure how they appeared or acted in advance helped out later on.
"Spirit of the land? It must be corrupted by something. I would say a plot unknown for a graveyard, or a magic spell, but if you are heading there, and since I am coming along, then I would guess they've called you or you've been sent because of reasons relating to your clergy?" Sev was only guessing. While he found it easy to imagine forehand people, he found it also hard to find any of the facts that were.. well, facts, out. He could figure emotions, possible actions later, but those hard facts that had almost nothing to do with emotions were hardest.

"He sounds like a respectable man. I've met my sure of greedy nobles but from that you depict him he is not. I'm glad the people have an honorable man such as him..." Schiarire remained in the same emotional status he was in before. There was a brief moment where he took some time to notice the land and how distraught Father Brom said it was. You could see the trees and crops slowly deteriorating even from the distance he was at. "Your are not joking...this land....these people..." he went off into his own world for a minute and then came back to reality. "I apologize....I'm just ranting. Go ahead and laugh Sev I know you want to."
