Okay, now we have a place to talk about current and upcomming anime.
In that spirit, I'd like to continue on with the the trashing of One Piece. Holy crap I hate that show. Logan, love ya man, I'd set your brother on fire for you(if you paid me enough), but One Piece is one more blasphemy in the long line of crap that they have tried to sell off as "piratey." The animation was sub-par, the plotline was excruciatingly slow, and the dialogue could have out-sucked a black hole, though I will admit that there has been worse dialogue (reference english dub of Bay Blades).
As for the .Hack// series, I would still love to watch all of Sign, but ROOTS had a main character that was about as apathetic as I am on the subject of pokemon. I love the concept of the World. I wish they would make it in real life so that we have an MMO that could pwn WoW. They just really, really failed in my opinion on their latest installment.
A recent title that they haven't licensed in America yet, is Pumpkin Scissors. Bad name, good comedy highlights, interesting concept. I'd suggest it to anyone that loves the military but doesn't really know how it works, or anyone that just genuinely loves a character that can take a beating and still get back up and win....against a tank...alone.

*BEYblades. It was Beyblades. I only watched it a couple fo times for the characters of Kai and Rei, (which they changed Rei to RAY, how stupid), because a good friend of mine likes the two.
Does Logan actually like One Piece (of crap)? Once I figured the names were, they became stupid to me, and the whole thing is 'Yummie' or whatever can STRETCH HIS ARMS! WOOOOOOOOOW. How? He ate some yumbo gumbo fruit or something. Stupid friggin little..... AUGH INFURIATES ME!
So Im guessing since I know how the military sort of works, I wouldnt like that one then?
.SIGN was the best... I mean seriously. It was good. The ending really sucked. Horribly. But the storyline til then was awesome!

I've really been meaning to watch Blood+ since they just started showing it on AS. I saw part of the original movie a few years back and never got to see it again so I'm quite intrigued about this series.
Actually there was a MMO based off of The World called .Hack Fragment but it never made it to the U.S. and they just canceled it in Japan for some reason. Maybe to make a new version? Who knows.
On the list of animes you listed on the intro page I noticed several a friend of mine mentioned to me about. Venus Vs Virus I think it was called? I really like the intro music.

I never watch Adult Swim anymore unless I happen to catch Inuyasha.. which happened to be like.. the third anime ever I had seen when I first started my anime fad. So although, yes, soemtimes the story is very bland, I like it still. Very sentimental anime to me.

Venus vs Virus has some good animation. The music score is good so far. I also like the fact that the main character isn't the really cocky-looking one, it's the scared little girl that acts pretty darned close to a real person.

I typically don't watch AS either only because I'm lost in half of the stuff they're showing right now but Blood+ just started so I can just catch up via youtube for the sub or dub version if they have it out yet.

AS is just too late at night for me. By the time they start showing anime, I'm on the computer, typing mysel into a stupor.
Anyways, back to the subjects at hand.
Riko, you might like Pumpkin Scissors, I don't know. the seeming lack of following orders would probably make you twitch. if you can handle that issue in Fullmetal Alchemist, then you can handle this.

I tape everything I watch nowadays unless they show it at a reasonable time. ROOTS comes out at 4 in the morning so I have to tape that.
Ever seen Kannazuki no Miko? Its...different so to speak. I was skeptical the first time I saw it but it turned out not bad at all.

Was that the one with the psuedo-yuri priestesses of the moon and the sun, and giant robots?

The theme of the story is interesting, but Elfin Lied was way too graphic for me.
I have Kannazuki no Miko in fan sub if you are interested in aquiring it.
Have you seen Melody Of Oblivion?

I may like it. Seeing as how my commanders were crap, I constantly found ways to complete their orders without actually doing anything, so I couldnt get in trouble, but really didnt do them. That wont bother me. Im not an order following robot just now finding self individualization-- pahhhhhhh I am a strictly individual person who had to strive through it for the few in there who were good and were my friends.
