Well, sure, there has to be a special place for the classics. This would be long spanning, or just purely great animes, so good that possibly everyone has heard of them, even if they dont know what its about or if its even anime. Or just one that you think is so great, it qualifies as a classic.
The first that comes to my mind is Dragon Ball and Dragonball Z. Of course, not the best, but to me its a classic. It was the thing that got me interested in the anime type. I watched it at 5 am, on weekdays, so yes, I got up early, watched it, then got ready for school.
Also, I put Yu Yu Hakusho here, because if it hadnt been for YYH, I woudlnt have made the one friend that introduced me to anime, so its a classic to me. I remember instantly I liked the redhead, and it took me forever to learn his name and figure out what role he played there, but anyone who knows me, knows that Kurama is my fav of all time.
Dragonball Z, and YYH, what others?

Outlaw Star? Cowboy Bebop? Those are the two other ones that come to mind since you mentioned DBZ and YYH already. Bebop and DBZ have a special place in my heart as does Outlaw Star.

O.M.G. I cant believe I forgot Outlaw Star!!! Classic! The hot springs episode was liek a rarity to me cus I only saw it ONCE then they deemed it not good for the tv and you can only see it if you find someone who uploads it or whatever.
Man Outlaw Star was classic.. Ah now I remember it.. hehehe, I remember when I first saw it my favorite parts were when Aisha was being all loud and stuff, and Melfina singing. Gods I lov eher songs still.. So moving. And now since its so old I harly remember what happened.

I saw the hot springs episode over the summer since a friend of mine has the dvd box set of the whole season. I had no idea it was only 26 episodes. It seemed a lot longer then that on TV.
Oh man what was another classic series.....oh huh something else I haven't seen in a long time that ended recently Inuyasha. I remember when it first came on. Man that feels like so long ago.

Oooo Im sorry but can you ask your friend if I can borrow it? I woudl love to watch it full on in order! But I dunnoe if now is a good time. I have a project due on Monday, a test on monday, two exams on wednesday, and then I have another exam and test the next monday. All my teachers are basically throwing in last minute things. I wont be free until after finals, which is like May 3rd.
Outlaw Star was SO a classic.
Inuyasha is also a classic, but I htink at some point, certain episodes should be deemed NOT classic. The like.. first half are classic. They follow the storyline pretty tight, leading up to Naraku, but then at some point they begin a bunch of mini-missions, and make it very difficult to get to Naraku. Yah, it looks good, but after a while it gets boring. I stopped watching it, actually, because htey keep showing reruns of it, trying to make it more epic.

If I see him again I'll ask him for you. I haven't seen him in about two weeks so I dunno if I'll get the chance.
Ah Tenchi Muyo haha I had some good times with that and Tenchi Universe. I didn't like Tenchi in Tokyo as much to be honest. It felt too dramatic and lacked all the comedy that made the series what it was not to mention I was extremely confused the entire time heh.

Ahahaha I actually had a hard tiem distinguishing between them all. I like it when Ryoko comes in though; that first episode. I loved it. He cuts off her hand/arm, and hes like " IM SO SORRY!" and then she regrows or regenerates it, and he is baffled. xD Purely great. I also like the whole fighting thing they had going on. I stopped watching it when it turned RyoOhki into a robot thing that Sasami got in.. that was just pathetic. If I wanted Sailor Moon.. Id go watch Sailor Moon, and I dont. Other than that, I liked the series.

Heh first episode was probably my favorite out of the bunch. RyoOkhi turned into a robot? Huh...I don't remember that. I do remember RyoOhki being part of a ship that Ryoko traveled in. It was a ship right? Oh and whenever the Ryoko clone showed up. That was another episode I liked.

Yah, those were the episodes I liked. Yes, RyoOhki could turn into a ship. Later int he series though, they made a version focused on Sasame, so RyoOhki could then turn into a giant rabbit robot, and fight with Sasame as the pilot. Thats what I really didnt like. 1st, RyoOhki isnt a rabbit. 2nd, RyoOhki could only turn into a ship, not a robot. 3rd, RyoOhki has a brain, so making him/her a robot is just pointless.

Hmmm yeah you're right that doesn't make a whole lot of sense heh. Oh oh I can't believe I forgot about Kenshin. Man I watched it on Toonami when it first came on like nobodies business. Then I lost track of it for a good long time before they started showing it again on that Saturday night cartoon block thingy before Toonami was weekend only.
Speaking of Toonami remember Rising Sun and Midnight Run?

Nope. I hated Toonami shortly after they began showing crap. Adult Swim too. Only thing interesting on is ATHF SOMETIMES. I do remember the Midnight Run, mainly because they showed the Daft Punk videos once, and thast how I got into Techno.
Kenshin has got to be another classic. And I dont mean Samurai X. I mean RUROUNI KENSHIN.

Ah I don't remember seeing the Daft Punk videos on Toonami. I might've seen One more time but I can't remember. Midnight Run was like 6 hours once on Saturday nights and then they moved it to late weeknights. It was pretty much Adult Swim with just anime. Well what about when they first started shwoing Adult Swim? They had great stuff back then.
I've never seen Samurai X. Is there a huge difference between the two?

I dunnoe, but it pisses me of fthen I say Kenshin, and People are like "Oh, Samurai X?" and they go on about how he got his scars. Im pretty sure Samurai X is like.. I think its made AFTER Rurouni, but its meant to tell his lifes story of BEFORE Rurouni. Im not sure though. They have it at blockbuster, but its never in stock.
When Midnight run first started, it was about an hour long program on Saturdays. From midnight to 1 am. Thats when they showed Daft Punk. After that they extended its time and showed different stuff, but I didnt like it all, so I didnt watch most of it.

Ah I saw it at Sam Goody alot before it got shut down. If I get the chance I'll probably look it up on youtube if they have it. Haha I know this will probably get me killed but how about Pokemon and Digimon? Heh I prefered Digimon over Pokemon show wise but I liked the Pokemon games better.

GAH~! Pokemon?! Thats not a classic! The anime killed the whole card game! WHich, it was decent until they had the anime of it. Digimon.. Ok, Ill admit, I was in LOVE with that when it first came out. That was forever ago though. Like.. jeez, at least 8th grade. Season 1 was cool. Season 2 was amazing. Even Season 3 was a bit interesting. I didnt liek it when they made the original kids older, who had to 'teach' a new generation. Id rather they just start it from scratch, kinda like how each Final Fantasy goes, or like.. I dunnoe. Just now how they did it.
