Hiro looked back at Sesso a moment, raising an eyebrow a moment, and shaking his head yet again. Seemed silly that anyone carry so much crap around, and sillier still to let it give life in such a small space. Surely this kid understood that it was a health hazard to have such amounts of mold so close to you and your books...Then again, clearly, if he did know, he was too lazy to care.
Hiro was guilty, but only of leaving putrid gym clothing in his locker because he hates having to take it home and explain why he has a shirt that is staring at him. He shrugged again and looked back over toward Riko, wondering if he heard anything like wind. He hadn't heard anything but the sound of a very nervous kid stuffing books into the locker and chips into garbage.
He yawned a little again, trying to find something else to think about before the same damn annoying song came back into his head.
He didn't say anything else for a moment, listening carefully for something unusual.
He thought about saying something snide, but shook his head one more time, before wandering back to Riko.
'Well, that was plenty fun...making a bookworm squirm...' he thought with a small little smirk that showed he had tried to play fair..main word being -tried- in that sentence. He had held back...but only because he had no desire to have one of those many books thrown at him...he was afraid he might just suffocate from the mold spores.

[ahah suffocate from mold spores...]
Riko smiled and gave a small laugh, ending all laughing from him about it from then on. He sighed and was about to think about other things when he shot up, suddenly getting a feeling of deja view. He couldn't place it, it felt familiar, the place, the time. It took him a bit, but suddenly he remembered listening to his CD earlier of a video game in which he had then imagined and gotten a feeling of deja view of playing the game. A second later he applied that to now and realized there was the slight windy rain noise!
"I knew it! I knew it had to come back, even if it was and is still just in my mind!" Riko practically yelled it. Anyone anywhere near would have heard him yell frantically about 'it' coming back. He ran to the end where THE locker was, and now that what he wanted came, he couldn't open the locker. Something stayed his hand and he just stared.

What the hell. The other guy must be nuts or something. Jeez and I thought I was weird. Sesso finished with the remaining garbage and slowly got up, reluctant at first to get yet another comment shot back at him.
Whatever was going on must've been something amazing for even Sesso was curious about this sudden interest in some random locker. He wasn't sure if this was some kind of trap or anything but he was willing to risk losing whatever dignity he had left. "Um....could I ask what you may be speaking of?" he said quietly, still talking in that reluctant almost kid like voice. The smell permeating from his locker was now distinct as was all the garbage in the garbage can. He choose to ignore it and not show any more weakness he had already given out. You got to be kidding. Look at you you're pathetic! Act like you're supposed to idiot! Man up!!

Hiro turned and looked at the locker Riko was staring at. "You're sure it's this one?" he asked calmly, gathering a more reasonable sense of being for a moment, trying to act as uninterested as he could. He failed, and looked at Sesso as he asked his question.
Too busy to make a comment, Hiro opened the locker, looking through and feeling a rushing chill. It was a mix of adrenaline, and fear. He shuddered and shook it off, putting at hand toward the doorway.
"The hell is this?" he questioned under his breath. He pulled his hand back, feeling the odd cold wet feeling of fog on his hand. His red eyes focused on whatever might be sitting on the other side of the foggy corridor.
He looked at Riko, then Sesso, realizing he hadn't said his name. He thought about going through, and seeing what was on the other end...before the door closed again...and who knew when it would open again.
He did consider the option of not being able to come back out..but he didn't have much to leave behind.
He tested the foggy door again and reached up to his shoulder. "Anyone else want to see the other side? See if it's any greener?"
'Bad Hiro, making Three Billy Goats Gruff references' he thought with a pleasent laugh as he faced the fog again.

Riko watched all the testing. Every so often he would get a cold chill as if a harsh wind blew through from a north region, but he knew it was only his nerves playing tricks on him. He had been so interested when Hiro tested it. He wanted to try too, but he didn't want to walk through and be alone. Being alone wasn't good and he didn't like it; he tended to get scared when he was alone, or knew no one was going to come for him.
"I.. I kinda want to see the other side.." Riko nearly whispered. He was too busy staring at the beauty of what could and would be a break-though from everything he previously knew. "I wonder if it is greener... I wonder if its raining! Maybe thats what the fog is from.. Or maybe its day there and night here, wherever there is." He thought for a bit. "I hope it doesn't just go like.. to the other side of the school.."
Although that would be safer, Riko honestly hoped it didn't lead to anywhere he could simply go himself. This was everything he had read about in fiction books, everything he had seen in science fiction movies, everything the heroes came from, new worlds, new ideas, new experiences- everything the normal dreamer wished to secretly have, and here it was, for them to explore and conquer. I'm just gonna say my mind.. he thought to himself before practically yelling again "Lets just go try it!" in an almost hyper carefree way.

Didn't really answer my previous question....what in the hell is that? Sesso slowly peaked his head in to see what all the commotion was about. To his surprise a sudden chill went down his spine as if he was outside in the cold. A deep, dense fog surrounded the locker showing off its deep mystique as if it was from another world or dimension. Sesso couldn't believe what was unfolding before him.
How was this even remotely possible? Nevertheless he was able to say something before becoming completely memorized. "Could be darker....or..." Sesso paused for a moment and then continued right back to his train of thought, "Could even be snowing. That would be majestic.."
His sudden interest in this new discovery was quite profound on himself. All previous, and rather shameful, events from several moments before had vanished from his point of view. All focus was set on this...fog. This unknown part of their very own school that could perhaps lead to anywhere in existence, whatever that meant.
"I guess....if you two are reckless enough to go into this 'thing'...I could too." he said trying not to show he had any interest in the thing.

Hiroshi smiled, nodding a little to Riko. "Alright, I'll go first, let you know how the water is," he joked with a smaller smiled as he waved another arm through, testing the area, making sure there were no trees in the way.
"If this leads to the other side of the school, I've found a new way to Math class..." he cracked as he took a test step, feeling nothing really beneath it, he frowned, wondering how far the fall would end up being, of it is was just like a step.
"Reckless?" he questioned, looking at Sesso a moment, before back at the fog. "That's what they called all the greats. Reckless, stupid, foolish, delusional...Now those people are feeling mighty foolish and stupid...and even a little delusional.." he laughed a little.
He paused and turned around, looking at Riko and Sesso. "If you hear some gasty screams, tell the teachers Hiroshi Shinda finally went mad and fled the country..." he shook his head and turned back to the fog, testing a step, before stepping through and disappearing into the fog.
On the other side, Hiroshi stumbled a little, catching his foot on what might have been part of the locker. He managed to save himself from face planting, and looked around.
He was a little disappointed, things were a little darker shades than the normal, which made the albino feel like a moon. A bright white moon in the middle of a clear black sky.
The trees around him looked a little different, and, looking back through the doorway, he called out "Watch your step!" but wondered if they would even hear him. This side of the door was cooler, chiller, and windier...but not greener.
The wind tossed his baggy pants and shirts around as if he were riding a motorcycle, constantly flapping at first. But after a moment, it calmed down. He ran a hand through his hair to clear it from his face, and took a deep breath.
"Grass ain't always greener, but I wouldn't have minded whiter..." he muttered, looking around for a mud puddle or something to make him blend in a littler better...instead, he just looked back to the doorway and stepped a little ways back.
"Hindsight's a bitch...should have remembered the albino-dom issue I have going for me...damnmit...I hope nothing around here is hostile..." He said aloud, looking around again, hoping nothing was ready to pounce on him.

"Oooo" Riko nearly forgot to breathe he was so interested. Hiro seemed to just slip right through like it was air. His mind wandered a bit, but he came too and walked forward a bit toward this doorway. "Reckless, pah! Yes, what he said! Its better than being bored all day!"
He then eyeballed the way, poked at the clear shimmering liquid-like air, ran his finger through it, then his arm, frantically waving it through and on the other side. He briefly wondered how ridiculous and funny it must look from the other side - a hand poking out to about the elbow and flailing about happily.
He backed a bit, right back to where he was before, eyeballed it again, and said aloud "Just like being shoved into a locker by a bully.. but what would I know of that?!" and he tried to rush through the doorway in a run. The locker was small though, and Riko stupidly nicked his elbow which would cause only a simple bruise later.
He ducked and rolled when he got to the other side, making good use of the momentum and elbow nicking he had done. As fast as he had though he was back up, as if he meant to do all he had done intentionally.
"Woooow..." He said as he admired the surroundings. "Its a lot darker here. I mean, look, it makes it look cloudy in a way! I mean, if you were looking at a painting.. I bet this moons not totally up.." He stared upward looking for it, but almost lost his balance having not found it or if he did he dismissed the little sliver as nothing. "Or maybe it has a black moon and white one. Or a red one and white. Or just a red moon. Or maybe its so small it doesn't so much.." he wondered aloud, being talkative in his slight nervousness and excited state.
Lastly, he knelt and pawed through the grass. It felt like normal grass. A bit weedy, but grass.

Sesso sighed slowly watching both of them go through the locker without any consequence of what may be lurking on the other side. "You've gotta be kidding....." Sesso passed his hand through the strange fog and felt an odd sensation go through his entire body. "Woah...what is this? I feel so....light."
Sesso grinned for the first time since the whole locker incident happened. He hadn't felt this excited about anything since he last saw his sister Lucretia.
It had been 4 and 1/2 years since then. His last encounter was a curse to his mind, being a happy and a sad memory at the same time. It was the last time he had seen her in the healthy and vivid self he usually expected her to be in. She was forced, until just a few weeks ago, to stay in the hospital until they could find a full cure for her disease.
Sesso quickly shook the thought off and returned back to reality, staring straight into the fog with his hand still halfway in the locker. "I guess....now or never. I hope I know what I'm doing" he said with a nervous yet excited tone.
He looked down at his necklace one last time and dove head first into the abyss, hoping he would at least make it in one piece.
Unfortunately, Sesso was never a very balanced young man. He landed head first in what appeared to be weeds from a quick glance. "Owwwww." He lifted his head slightly to get a decent look at his surroundings. The sky looked unreal, almost picturesque in its form. "Am I....dreaming?" he said still dazed.

"You should be able to answer that one," Hiro said with a straight face as he looked around, standing a little ways away. "You said ow...can't feel pain or read in a dream."
His red eyes were fixed on a tree, trying to tell what was different about it, why it seemed so much darker in hue. He had a feeling it was that dark even when, or if the sun chose to shine.
He looked over to Riko and Sesso a moment, thinking another moment, before walking back over and looking at Riko. "I hope it has a big moon, and a bue one..." he laughed.
The idea of having a literal blue moon was an interesting one...it would tint his skin an interesting shade of greyish blue. He had no desire to appear green or red...but blue would be fun.
Hiroshi knelt down to look at some of the leaves of the weeds Sesso had crashed in. They looked like they had little thorns on the tips of the leaves, but on further inspection, he found them to be more like fur.
"I up for more exploration, maybe find some of the locals..." he said, thinking aloud.

"I felt pain in a dream once!" Riko replied innocently, then "Oo like 'once in a blue moon'? But then there would be really odd things like in myths." He still squatted, and was pawing absently at the grass. It felt pleasant despite its ragged slight weedy-ness. He was so excited he couldn't think straight on one topic at one time. He kept thinking of questions that rolled into other questions that rolled into wonders that went even further to suspicions and guesses about this new place.
It didn't help his habit though. He never liked sitting still. Even when he did for school sitting in the hard desk, a leg would always bounce or he would unintentionally twirl the pencil in his hand or tap on the desk. He never thought about it until he was told that there are certain types of people who cant sit still for a specific reason. He couldn't remember it from then on, but he just knew he was one of those people. And now he couldn't stay still, which was why he kept fiddling with the grass absently with his hands, even as he looked at Hiro to reply and laughed a bit at the other for falling through flat on his face.
"Then, then.. lets go!" He hopped up. So much excitement in his head was causing a good steady adrenal rush and he wanted to walk, move, take in information to his brain that would burn off some of the energy being formed.

"Uhhhhh....." Sesso got up at a snails pace and looked at both Hiro and Riko, still a bit dazed from his fall. "If they're even locals here. Who knows where are...." He took a quick look around and stretched a bit. "I agree that we should explore. Better then staying here doing nothing."
He hadn't realized it until now but this had been the first time Sesso had spent any time with anyone outside of class like this.
It wasn't the ideal place he had in mind, but at least he was expanding his social skills to a degree. Not a high degree mind you.
"It feels like we're in space. Not really space as in outer space but a place thats ripped out of a science fiction novel or a fantasy movie. It doesn't seem real.....at all.
Oh dear..." he said shyly, having realized he was talking too much for his own good. It was like him to turn on the shyness when he got to talking about something to the point of annoyance.

"Huh?" Hiroshi watched Riko, raising a white brow in confusion. The kid was hard to follow, still. He shurgged it off. "Was just thinking it would be cool to be blue for once, not white as a sheet," the albino laughed a little.
He looked to Sesso again, and blinked. Another person who was proving to be hard to follow, but for a different reason. Sesso seemed to be new at this talking to others thing, where as Riko just seemed too hyper to stay with one train of thought...and for a moment, among these two younger students, he felt vastly intelligent.
But that feeling faded quickly, and he simply smiled again. "I'm sure that we will seem ripped out of a science fiction novel to the locals.." he said absently, as he looked around, trying to pick a direction to go.
He wondered where they were, whether it was an island, or the mainland of the world. And if they were still facing East, as they had been in the locker room. If that was the case, their current compass would be Sesso, who hadn't truly moved around...but if not, his sense of direction was truly confused...and it had once been so reliable.
He sighed a little, looking at Riko, then Sesso. "Alright, anyone for this direction?" he half asked, as he started walking toward what looked like a small forest. All around them was either trees, or field...and he guessed trees would be easier to hide in if things proved dangerous.
He also assumed that they were staying together, rather than trying the 'divide and conquer' idea in a world none of them had seen before.
"I hope this place is smaller than our world...our we could be exploring for a while..." he added, "And I wonder whether the passage of time will be the same...or if a minute here is a second at home...or whatever..." he finished, running a pale hand through his white tresses before starting off in his chosen direction.

"North.. or west.. " Riko kept turning in the appropriate directions in his head though he didn't physically move much. Oddly enough he was turning quite on a dime as he thought, acting quick on the question for direction. He didn't think much about it at the time, he was focusing on other things. "Really, I hope its bigger than our world - more fun in the oven!" He said, using the old quote but in an odd way. It was a personal inside joke he had among some others, but he found it funny to use elsewhere, he said it as he rushed to follow after Hiroshi close behind. Even though it seemed he could see pretty well here he didn't want to get separated.
As he followed at the decent pleasant pace, he shut his blabbing mouth and listened. He found it useful in new places and usually after his initial burst of energy in any new place he found he focused on things. He happened to turn his said acute hearing to work, and he listened to the trees, leaves, grass sway, the occasional snap of a branch or odd low rumble that might have been form an animal so far far away.
"There are a lot of completely different noises here.." he commented, talking soft almost in a whisper. Everything was so quiet he had to focus hard, so it made him feel already like he was yelling when he wasn't.

Sesso sighed again out of desperation and unsureness. He already felt uncomfortable with Riko's crazy hyper attitude considering he'd never been around someone with so much...energy for lack of a better word before. Sesso was never the type to go all fours into a situation with planning, however he would make an exception this one time. Being in a new place in all he really had no other choice but to go with the flow of things. "The air smells....distinct. I can't put my finger on it..."
His mind wandered off again as he walked. Almost in a trance, he unbuttoned his vest to give himself some more air. Sesso hated the heat, feeling hot, pretty much all things hot to him were taboo unless it was a drink or meal. Being born around a cold environment will do that to a person.
"Is it pine? No..." he said thinking out loud. At the moment he couldn't careless how Riko or Hiro judged him. That smell had gotten to him and it would continue to do so until he figured out the scent. This goes to show how determined, and odd, Sesso truly was.
